BJP Yuva Morcha submits memorandum to Siliguri Traffic DCP seeking solution for traffic problems

Siliguri, 15th February: A memorandum was handed over to the Traffic DCP of Siliguri Metropolitan Police by the Siliguri Organizational BJP Yuva Morcha, today, to address the growing traffic problem in the city. Earlier, the BJP Yuva Morcha staged a protest in front of the party office, Jayamuni Bhawan, demanding a solution to the traffic problem in Siliguri.


Kanchan Debnath, the Yuva President of Siliguri Organizational BJP stated that the traffic problem in Siliguri has become an annoyance. It takes 30 minutes to travel a short distance due to traffic congestion. He further stated that if the situation continues, then the students, appearing for their Secondary Examinations, may face problems in reaching their examination halls on time. He also stated that the memorandum was submitted demanding the solution to the traffic problems before the Secondary Examinations.
