Siliguri, 05th December: BJP took to the streets demanding a reduction in petrol-diesel taxes, on Sunday.
A rally was taken out on behalf of BJP’s Atharakhai Mandal on Sunday. Following which, BJP workers and activists staged a protest in front of a petrol pump adjacent to Shiv Mandir. Matigara-Naxalbari MLA Anandamoy Barman was present at the programme.
MLA Anandamoy Barman said, “The way the central government has reduced the tax on petroleum products, the state government should also decrease prices. The common man will benefit from it.”
