Kharibari, 10th January: BJP organized a protest rally alleging corruption in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Raniganj Binnabari Mandal of Kharibari on behalf of BJP, handed over a memorandum today to the Pradhan of Raniganj Panishali Gram Panchayat.
The BJP alleged that the names of TMC leaders are in the housing scheme list and the names of common people associated with the BJP have been removed. Stating the above they demanded that after surveying every village, houses should be granted under the housing scheme. They further warned to launch a massive agitation in the coming days if they fail to do so.
Raniganj Panishali Gram Panchayat Pradhan said that the houses under the scheme should be granted to those who are eligible.
