Siliguri, 10th August: Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, the Bharatiya Janata Party took the initiative to clean the statues of Bengali revolutionaries.
On Tuesday, BJP workers cleaned the statue of freedom fighter Binoy Badal Dinesh at Bibadi Chowk in Jalpaiguri, Siliguri. Besides, BJP state vice-president Raju Banerjee and other members paid homage to the dignitaries by laying wreaths.
Raju Banerjee said that an initiative has been taken to clean the statues of revolutionaries all over West Bengal.
