BJP stages rally in Siliguri with wheelchair

Siliguri, 18th March: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a rally in Siliguri before announcing the list of candidates for the assembly elections in Bengal.


District BJP president Praveen Agarwal took a jibe at the state’s ruling party Trinamool Congress and said that today his party is protesting against the crippling state of Bengal’s administration. “The governance of the state is also sitting in a wheelchair,” he added.

The rally commenced from Hashmi Chowk and moved around Sevoke Road. The party leaders and activists circled the city with an effigy kept on a wheelchair. District BJP president Praveen Agarwal, Shankar Ghosh, and other Yuva leaders were present at the rally.
