Siliguri, 16th March: Before the Siliguri sub-divisional council elections, BJP Refugee cell convener Pranabesh Mandal and many others left the party and joined the Trinamool Congress. A programme was organized at the community hall of Bidhannagar Samabay Samiti.
Another 150 members of CPIM also joined TMC. District Trinamool president Papia Ghosh, Susmita Sengupta, Kajal Ghosh, and others were present.
After joining the party, Pranabesh Mandal said, “I left (TMC) before by mistake but I am happy to be back.”
