Siliguri, 09th February: Atmosphere boiled up across the city surrounding posters “Gaddar Hatao BJP Bachao (Get rid of traitors, save BJP), and “Purono BJP Dichhe Dak Siliguri te ebar Didi e thak” (Let TMC stay in Siliguri), on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, BJP MLAs staged a sit-in protest near the Netaji statue in Siliguri.
MLA Shankar Ghosh accused Trinamool Congress of doing such activities. He said, “The incident has already been reported. We demand that the culprits be identified soon and be arrested. Failing which, Bharatiya Janata Party will file a case.”
