Kharibari, 29th June: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha staged a peaceful protest today, in front of Kharibari BDO office main gate, in support of various demands.
Addressing the media, Sulata Sarkar, President of Mahila Morcha Mandal stated that the protest was held opposing corruption concerning the COVID-19 vaccine and numerous other issues including life-threatening attacks on BJP workers and the safety of women in the state.
Apart from Sulata Sarkar, General Secretary Deepti Barman, Secretary Anjala Baroi and other workers were present during the protest.
