Siliguri, 12th August: The Siliguri Organizational District BJP Mahila Morcha launched a campaign alleging abuse of women and black-marketing of vaccines across the state.
A rally was taken out on behalf of the organization on Thursday. A large police force reached the spot and stopped the rally as it was marching towards the SDO’s office. However, the leaders of the organization clashed with the police when they broke the police barricade and proceeded towards the SDO office. Several people were arrested in the incident.
The organization alleged that despite the fact that the Chief Minister of Bengal is a woman, there is no security for women here. Violence against women is on the rise across the state. Also, black marketing is being carried out with COVID vaccination. Common people are facing various problems over vaccination.
