BJP leaders visit family of ‘Uttar Kanya Abhiyan’ deceased Ulen Roy in Rajganj

Rajganj, 12th June: BJP leaders visited the residence of deceased BJP worker Ulen Roy at Mantadari Gram Panchayat area in Rajganj on Tuesday following the state government’s announcement to take responsibility for the families of 321 deceased BJP workers.

During the visit, the BJP leaders spoke with the family members of Ulen Roy and assured them of all possible support from the government.

According to BJP leaders, many party workers and their families who were allegedly targeted due to political reasons had remained neglected for a long time. They claimed that the new government has now taken the initiative to stand beside those families. They also stated that emphasis would be given to ensuring financial and social security for the families of the deceased workers.

Speaking on the matter, Ulen Roy’s wife Malati Roy said they were happy that the BJP government had come to power and that party leaders had visited their home. She said the leaders informed them that the state government would take responsibility for their family. She further expressed hope that her son would get a job in the future.

Notably, Ulen Roy, a resident of Mantadari village under Rajganj block, died during the ‘Uttar Kanya Abhiyan’ on 7th December 2020.
