BJP leaders support 12-hour bandh against the mysterious death of MLA in Siliguri, several people detained

Siliguri, 14th July: Several BJP leaders and activists were detained in Siliguri while supporting the 12-hour bandh called by the party against the mysterious death of Devendra Nath Roy, BJP MLA of Hematabad.


Other BJP workers and Yuva leaders, including Siliguri Organizational BJP District President Prabin Agarwal, were spotted in Siliguri’s Hashmi Chowk supporting the bandh.

Following this, the Siliguri police detained many BJP leaders and activists, including the Prabin Agarwal and took them to Siliguri police station. Numerous BJP workers were also arrested from different parts of the city.
