Siliguri, 10th August: A memorandum was submitted at Bhaktinagar police station on behalf of BJP Siliguri organizational district’s Mandal Committee No. 08. Multiple problems including COVID-19 vaccination in the police station area were presented through the memorandum.
Sanjeev Kumar Singh, president of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Mandal Committee No. 08, said that ordinary people are deprived of the vaccine even after waiting in queues overnight. “The police administration is not taking any action against the Trinamool activists who are taking vaccine shots by threatening people,” Singh further alleged. He warned of gheraoing the office of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, Commissioner, and Siliguri SDO if their demands are not met soon.
