BJP demands probe into the party worker’s death in Cooch Behar Dinhata

Siliguri, 25th March: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) demanded a full probe into the death of its party worker in Cooch Behar’s Dinhata.


It is to be noted that the hanging body of BJP Mandal president Amit Sarkar was found on the balcony of a veterinary clinic adjacent to the BJP party office in the Dinhata Dakbanglo Para area on Wednesday morning. The BJP activists claimed that the Trinamool Congress is involved in the incident. However, the latter has denied all the allegations.

Meanwhile, BJP staged a protest in the Siliguri’s Dabgram Fulbari assembly area on Thursday demanding a full investigation into the incident. The Dabgram Fulbari assembly candidate Shikha Chatterjee also joined the protest.
