BJP candidate Raju Bista visits Naxalbari after nomination, holds roadshow

Naxalbari, 31st March: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Raju Bista from Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency conducted an election campaign in Naxalbari.


According to reports, on Sunday, Raju Bista held a road show from Satbhaiya of Naxalbari, visited ISKCON temple, and offered prayers. Later, he conducted a rally, participated in the wall-writing campaign in Kotia Jote, and visited Ramkrishna Ashram. Subsequently, he inaugurated the party office at Futani More.

It has to be noted that hundreds of CPIM and Trinamool Congress workers had joined the BJP in Rakamjote and Mallabari. Raju Bista extensively handed over the party flag on this day.


During the campaign, Bista expressed his intention to allocate the Darjeeling seat to the BJP once more and acknowledged Bimal Gurung for his support.
