BJP candidate Raju Bista arrives for campaign at Siliguri court

Siliguri, 22nd April: On Monday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Raju Bista of Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency arrived for campaign at Siliguri court. It is to be noted that, in the second phase of the Lok Sabha polls, voting would be conducted for Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency on April 26.


As per reports, candidate Raju Bista met the members of the Bar Association and conversed with them. During the campaign, the lawyers raised the issue concerning new infrastructure of the court. Responding to the concerns raised, Raju Bista stated that the lawyers had written a letter to him regarding the new building earlier which was duly forwarded. He added that due to lack of promptness from the association, the works did not progress. Bista further stated that after the election, he will look into the matter on priority.

Additionally, while speaking about the High Court order on Monday in the teacher appointment case, the BJP candidate stated that the corruption has been done by the government, leaders, and some officials. The High Court should first initiate action against them and cancel the recruited panel later.
