Fulbari, 6th April: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Jalpaiguri Lok Sabha constituency Jayanta Kumar Roy conducted election campaign in Dabgram-Fulbari assembly constituency under Jalpaiguri.
Reportedly, the BJP candidate began election campaign from Gora More on Saturday morning and arrived at Bhola More and offered prayers at Putimari Jagannath temple. Subsequently, he campaigned in several areas of Fulbari in addition to inaugurating the party office at Paschim Dhantala.
Significantly, several workers and supporters of Trinamool and other parties desisted support and joined BJP under the leadership of Jayanta Kumar Roy.
