Alipurduar, 31st July: Bison attack in Kohinoor tea garden area created a stir in the area. Reportedly, 4 bison entered the Kohinoor tea garden area of Alipurduar district on Saturday morning. Later, three bison went back to the forest but one remained in the tea garden. Following this, the forest department was informed.
Upon receiving the news, the forest workers of the Buxa Tiger Reserve reached the spot and chased away the bison back to the forest after trying for about a few hours.
