Siliguri, 13th November: Acting on a tip-off, the Bidhannagar police arrested a youth, identified as Mohammad Jabbar (26) of Jhingibari area, for illegal possession of narcotics substance.
Reportedly, the police campaigned in the Bidhannagar area of Phansidewa block and nabbed Mohammad Jabbar and recovered 10 grams of brown sugar in his possession. The market value of which is said to be over a lakh. Police are probing the entire incident. Today the accused was produced in the Siliguri Sub Divisional Court.
