Siliguri, 15th November: A woman was arrested with a large quantity of illegal liquor. The arrested accused has been identified as Saloni Bishwakarma (33).
It has been learned that the Bhaktinagar police, acting on a tip-off, arrested the woman from a restaurant in the Salugara Bazar area. However, the restaurant owner managed to escape the scene.
The arrested woman was produced in Jalpaiguri court today. Police are investigating the incident.
