Siliguri, 30th March: Bhaktinagar police, acting on a tip-off, arrested six men with firearms. The arrested accused have been identified as Rajesh Chhetri, Subham Roy, Prithvi Soni, Sayan Barman, Suman Sakhani, and Rahul Hussain.
Bhaktinagar police raided the Shastri Nagar area based on a tip-off last night. Police conducted a search and recovered a locally made gun, a round of live ammunition, and several other weapons from their possession.
As per the initial investigation, the youths had gathered in Shastri Nagar area with criminal intentions. They were produced in Jalpaiguri court today.
