Kalchini, 14th November: Sensation prevailed after another bear wandered into a village under Kalchini block, on Monday. It is to recall, three days ago, the forest personnel had rescued three bears from Latabari. With another bear sighting in just a couple of days, the villagers are in a state of terror.
Reportedly, the wild animal was spotted in the north Mendabari area of Kalchini block. Apparently, it attacked and dragged a pig kept in a house of the area. After the forest department were informed, the personnel searched the area since this morning. However, no traces of the bear could be found. The has further added more to the concerns of the villagers.
