Siliguri, 20th April: On the occasion of Navratri Maha Ashtami, Basanti Puja was organized by Parvati Ghat Puja Committee under Ward No.45 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, on Tuesday.
With the rising number of coronavirus cases, the committee has banned the entry of visitors inside the pandal without masks.
According to the directory issued by the Health Department, a sanitizer machine has also been installed in the pandal. The Puja Committee informed that the decision has been taken to raise awareness among the people about the importance of masks.
