Siliguri, 13th March: A blood donation camp and free health check-up camp were organized in Samarnagar on behalf of Navchetana Welfare Society, on Sunday.
It has been learned that a drawing competition was organized for the children this morning. Apart from blood donation and health check-up, eye examination was also organized by Lions Netralaya. Dr. Swapan Roy then distributed free medicines among the needy.
Deputy Mayor of Siliguri Ranjan Sarkar, Alok Chakraborty, Councilor of Ward No. 46 Dilip Barman, Social Worker Khagendranath Roy, Jalpaiguri MP Dr. Jayanta Roy, and others were present at the programme. Ranjan Sarkar asked everyone to be safe this Basanta Utsav.
