Bangladeshi youth arrested with expired visa and forged Aadhar card in Kharibari

Kharibari, 02nd October: A Bangladesh national has been apprehended on charges of living illegally in India on an expired visa. The arrested youth has been identified as Mohammad Swapan who was later released on bail.


According to the information, Mohammad is a mechanical engineer by profession. Reportedly, the validity of his visa expired three months prior. Previously, the youth was apprehended for possessing a forged Aadhar card. Following this, he was produced before the court and taken on remand. However, during the investigation, several shocking information were revealed in connection to the youth.

Following the lead, the police rushed to a studio in the area of Kharibari block and arrested a young man named Sanay Sarkar. During the investigation, the police recovered a fingerprint machine along with several credit cards. Subsequently, the accused was produced before the Siliguri court. At present, the Phansidewa police are investigating other suspects involved in this fraud scam.
