Bangladeshi national arrested on suspicion of cattle theft in Phansidewa

Phansidewa, 18th September: In a significant breakthrough, a Bangladeshi youth was apprehended on suspicion of cattle theft. According to reports, the youth entered India illegally from Bangladesh by crossing the barbed wire. Following this, he was wandering in the Helagachh area of the Phansidewa block.


Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the spot, interrogated the youth, and subsequently arrested him. According to police sources, the youth identified as Saboor Ali, is a resident of Thakurgaon, Bangladesh. On Monday, the accused was produced before the Siliguri Court. Currently, Phansidewa police are engaged in further investigation of the entire incident.
