Siliguri, 19th January: On Friday, the Bangiya Hindu Mahamancha staged a sit-in protest in front of the Siliguri police station and handed over a memorandum demanding women’s protection across the city.
As per reports, on Friday, the members of the Bangiya Hindu Mahamancha marched from the area adjacent to Siliguri Police Station. Upon being halted by the police, the demonstrators sat down in front of the police station.
Following this, the members presented a memorandum with 6 point demands in view of women’s protection to Siliguri police station.
