Siliguri, 02nd February: Cops of Pradhan Nagar police station busted an auto theft gang going about the city committing several crimes. Reportedly, the cops while investigating a bike theft case, arrested three persons. The accused have been identified as Anup Roy, Bholanath Roy and Chanchal Majhi.
ADCP Shubhendra Kumar, through a press conference at Pradhan Nagar police station on Thursday, stated that three members of the auto theft gang have been arrested and taken on three-day police remand for further questioning. After a successful interrogation, spare parts of vehicles including a stolen Tata Sumo have been recovered. The search for this entire network has also been started. Pradhan Nagar police are probing the entire matter.
