Siliguri, 11th March: Within hours of the theft, Ashighar outpost police arrested two people with stolen items. The arrested accused have been identified as Sanjay Das and Sourav Baroi.
It has been learned that on Thursday night, the house of Pradeep Saha was robbed. Several valuable items including gold ornaments were stolen.
After the incident, Pradeep Saha lodged a complaint at the Ashighar outpost. Based on this, the police launched an investigation and arrested the two accused individuals. The stolen items were also recovered from their possession.
