Siliguri, 21st May: Another has tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Siliguri. The person is a resident of Patiramjote of Matigara in Siliguri district.
As per the information, the aforementioned person had returned to Siliguri from Guwahati, Assam a few days ago. The person underwent a medical checkup in Guwahati and the result came back positive on May 19. Following this, the infected person was admitted to the COVID-19 Hospital in Siliguri, tonight, for medical treatment.
According to the Health Department of the COVID-19 Hospital, currently, three people from Siliguri Municipal Corporation area and one from Matigara have been infected with the fatal virus.
