Siliguri, 03rd May: Ankita Roy, a student from Siliguri Girls High School, has achieved a remarkable score of 642 marks in her Madhyamik exams, amidst financial constraints.
According to reports, Ankita lives in the Ashighar area as her family faces financial struggles due to her father’s illness, which limits his ability to work. Meanwhile, Ankita dedicates 1-2 hours every day driving an e-rickshaw to support the family. Ankita’s mother, Jharna Roy, sustained the family by working as a tailor.
In this regard, Jharna Roy expressed her joy for her daughter’s accomplishments and remarked that she did not expect her daughter to pass the exam with an outstanding result amid the financial problems. On the other hand, Ankita, determined to pursue science in her future studies, is concerned about the financial strain.
