Amid COVID-19 scare, two dengue cases surface in Siliguri

Siliguri, 07th August: With all the healthcare authorities focussed on coronavirus, two new cases of dengue in Siliguri have doubled their concerns. As per the report, several residents of Dudhia and Mirik adjoining Siliguri city have also been infected with dengue.


In this regard, Ranjan Sarkar, member of the Board of Administrators of Siliguri Municipal Corporation, said that every effort is being made to prevent dengue in all 47 wards of the Municipal Corporation. The VCT team is working hard in the wards. Apart from this, he assured to take stock of the multi-storey buildings under construction in the city soon.
