Siliguri, 04th February: The All Trade Union and Federation Darjeeling District Committee have raised their voices against the budget of the Center today. Alleging the centre of being anti-people and providing benefits only to the corporate sectors and depriving the poor of the benefits of the budget they organized a protest program.
The said program was held on behalf of the organization at Siliguri’s Hashmi Chowk. The members of the organization opposed the Union Budget. On behalf of the organization, CPM’s District Secretary Saman Pathak took a dig at the budget of the Center and said that it is not a beneficial budget but rather a budget that is beneficial to the rich. He further said that there will be a continuous movement against the new budget of the Center.
