Alipurduar, 08th May: Amid the ongoing lockdown to fight COVID-19 pandemic, the Alipurduar District Police celebrated the 159th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore following all the government protocols.
All the Alipurduar police stations celebrated the day with much enthusiasm. A procession was taken out on behalf of the Kalchini police, which toured various parts of Kalchini and Hamiltonganj.
On the other hand, Rabindra Jayanti was also observed by the Madarihat Police. A procession was organized, in which the police personnel and civic volunteers participated.
