Alipurduar, 25th June: The 9th anniversary of the establishment of the Alipurduar district was celebrated on Sunday. According to sources, the day was celebrated by organizing a program at Dooars Kanya, the administrative building of the Alipurduar district.
Reportedly, today, the program was organized under the initiative of the Alipurduar District Administration and Culture Department. During the program, District Magistrate, Surendra Kumar Meena, Banga Ratna, and Padma Shri recipient, including other dignitaries of the society were present. In the program, meritorious students and journalists were honored. Speaking at the occasion, the DM stated that the district has undergone remarkable development and progress since its formation.
