Alipurduar, 23rd March: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Alipurduar Lok Sabha constituency Manoj Tigga campaigned in the tea garden despite the incessasant rain. It is to be noted that Manoj Tigga had filed his nomination on Friday.
Reportedly, on Saturday morning, Tigga reached the tea garden and took the party workers of Birpara Tea Estate and campaigned among the workers plucking tea leaves. In this regard, Manoj Tigga stated the he would work for several issues concerning the tea workers in the future.
