Siliguri, 23rd February: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad will take out a ‘Hoonkar Rally’ on February 24 in support of a five-point demand.
The organization members, on Tuesday, held a press conference in this regard at the Siliguri Journalists Club. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad National Secretary Nidhi Tripathi, Saptarshi Sarkar, and other members were present at the conference.
Saptarshi Sarkar said that the ‘Hoonkar Rally’ will be taken out concerning unemployment, women’s security, protection of democracy, and many other issues. The programme has already begun across the state. The rally will commence from Siliguri Airview more at 11 am on Wednesday and will conclude at Baghajatin Park. Several thousand members are said to join the rally.
