AIMSS takes to the streets in support of the nation-wide strike on Nov 26

Siliguri, 23rd November: The All India Mahila Samskritik Sanghatan (AIMSS) took to the streets in support of the nation-wide general strike called on November 26.


Eleven trade unions across the country have raised their voices against the anti-people policies of the central government including the national education policy, repeal of the farmers’ law, and the Essential Commodities Act.

Meanwhile, several trade unions have already adopted various measures to make the strike successful. This time, AIMSS took to the streets of Siliguri to make the strike a success.


Reportedly, a rally was taken out from Baghajatin Park on behalf of the organization which concluded at Mahatma Gandhi More (Airview More). West Bengal State Committee Secretary Kalpana Dutta and other district leaders were present at the rally.
