Siliguri, 13th December: Administration launched campaigns against overloaded stone-laden dumpers in the city.
It has been learned that the administrative officers have been conducting the operation for some time now. On Monday, MVI officials seized a dumper loaded with stones in the Fulbari area under the NJP police station. The driver of the dumper was arrested in the incident.
According to police sources, accidents are happening frequently. Hence, the administration has launched campaigns against overloaded vehicles.
