Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury hits out at TMC and BJP

Siliguri, 06th February: West Bengal Pradesh Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury took a dig at the interim budget presented by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, today in Siliguri. 


The Darjeeling District Congress took out a mega rally in Siliguri in protest against various policies of the Central and State Governments, including the Farm Bill, price hike.

West Bengal Pradesh Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Darjeeling District Congress President Shankar Malakar and other leaders were present in the said mega-rally. A large number of activists and supporters also marched in the rally.


After the rally, he addressed a public meeting at Baghajatin Park. Giving a statement in the public meeting, he said that the Chief Minister presented a ‘Chacheri Budget’ ahead of the assembly polls. He further said that the Chief Minister, who earlier called Bimal Gurung a traitor, brought him back in Bengal for her political gains.

The Pradesh Congress President also hit out at BJP and said that it is just as harmful as the Trinamool Congress in the state. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury stated that the people are relying on the Congress-Left alliance in the upcoming assembly polls.
