Siliguri, 12th February: Another fatal accident in Sevoke killed a man, identified as Tapas Singha, while his wife Rani Singha sustained serious injuries. The duo is said to be residents of South Dinajpur.
As per the report, on Tuesday, the couple was heading towards Sevoke on their motorcycle when a speeding truck approaching from the opposite direction smashed into them, killing Tapas on the spot. The pillion rider was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Siliguri. Upon receiving the news, the Sevoke Checkpost Police reached the spot. However, the truck fled away after the incident.
