Islampur, 10th March: A youth lost his life and two were injured in a road accident that occurred in the Dubkol area under Goalpokhar police station, on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Haider Reza (25), a resident of the Goagaon area under Goalpokhar police station.
According to local sources, the three were returning home on a motorcycle from Sahapur, during which, their vehicle lost control and rammed into a lorry that was parked at the roadside. While Haider Reza died on the spot, the other two sustained severe injuries. They were rescued and immediately rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, upon receiving the news, the Goalpokhar police reached the spot shortly after, sent the body for an autopsy, and started an investigation into the incident.
