Siliguri, 29th August: Nirmal Gupta, a resident of Siliguri was severely injured after his motorcycle collided with a four-wheeler car at Asian Highway 2 near Gosaipur, on Saturday morning.
Reportedly, Gupta was on his way to Gosaipur from Siliguri, during which a speeding car hit him and fled away.
The locals rescued him and rushed him to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). Upon receiving the news, the Bagdogra police rushed to the spot and have launched an investigation into the incident.
