Siliguri, 01st December: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) launched a signature campaign today against the privatization of the land of North Bengal University.
Members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad held a meeting near the Gandhi statue at Kachari Road in Siliguri holding placards to protest against the privatization of the land of the university. During this, a signature campaign was also done.
During this, ABVP State Secretary Shubhabrat Adhikari said that the privatization of the NBU land is a conspiracy to sell the university. Against which a signature campaign has been done to get a public opinion from the people of North Bengal.
