Abhishek Banerjee at Barobisha: Slams center accusing it of seeking revenge from people of Bengal after their defeat in the state

Alipurduar, 27th April: Abhishek Banerjee attended a public meeting today at Barobisha under Alipurduar District. He addressed the gathering and boosted the morale of party workers by affirming that capable leaders of Trinamool will contest for their rights in the upcoming panchayat polls.

As per reports, TMC’s General Secretary, after completing his tour of Cooch Behar, arrived at Alipurduar and addressed the public meeting at Barobisha Vivekananda Maidan. Banerjee took a jibe at the Centre, accusing it of withholding the 100 days of work money of the people of Bengal. He stated that the BJP has done this in retaliation for losing its position in West Bengal.

Banerjee asserted that he will go to Delhi soon with one crore letters and do anything possible, including sitting on an indefinite strike, to retrieve the withheld money.
