Siliguri, 26th April: In a sheer determination to exercise democratic rights, a 95-year-old woman Bela Bose defied old age to casts vote with her family members at a polling station in Ward No. 10 in Siliguri.
Reportedly, the elderly woman exercised her voting rights with the assistance of the central forces who carried her inside the booth.
Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Raju Bista from Darjeeling constituency arrived at the booth to take stock of the voting center and met the elderly woman. The elderly woman was elated to cast her vote.
