9-foot-long python rescued from bamboo grove in Rajganj, panic spreads in area

Rajganj, 13th May: Panic spread in the Haricharan Bhita area of Rajganj after a nearly 9-foot-long python was spotted inside a bamboo grove.

According to reports, local residents first noticed the python near a poultry farm on Wednesday morning. The reptile later entered a nearby bamboo grove, following which a large crowd gathered at the spot.

After prolonged efforts, local residents managed to rescue the python from the bamboo grove. The snake is reportedly a Rock Python species.

The forest department has been informed about the incident and the python will be handed over to forest personnel of the Ambari Range. Fear and panic have spread across the area following the incident.
