8-foot long injured python rescued in Ambari

Rajganj, 17th November: A massive 8-foot-long python was rescued in an injured state from Gokulbhita village in Ambari on Sunday afternoon.


According to local sources, the python sustained injuries two days ago while crossing the railway tracks near Gokulbhita. On Sunday, the locals spotted the injured python near a bush and immediately took action. The snake was carefully secured in a sack before being handed over to forest officials from the Ambari Range.

Forest officials reported that the python sustained injuries on its mouth. Following necessary medical treatment, the python will be released back into the wild.
