Cooch Behar, 31st May: A devastating fire engulfed six consecutive shops at the Dodearhat market in Cooch Behar.
According to reports, on Thursday night, the traders of the Dodearhat market closed their shops and returned home. On Friday morning, the traders were alerted about the fire. Subsequently, they rushed to the scene and witnessed the horrifying incident.
Later, two fire engines arrived at the scene and began the dousing operation. However, as per the traders, they suffered a loss of over Rs 30 lakhs in the incident.
