Mirik, 24th November: 57-year-old Krishna Tamang, a resident of Mahendra village finished fourth in the 10 km Darjeeling Hill Marathon on November 22. Applauding his achievements, he was grandly welcomed by various social organizations in Mirik.
Under the leadership of social activist and teacher Deepraj Rai, Tamang was welcomed by various sports associations of Mahendra village including Department of Electricity, Department of Information and Culture, Sadhana Kala Kendra, Himalayan Gym Mirik and youths from different communities.
