Kharibari, 14th September: A 4-year old child was severely injured after falling off a moving train, on Tuesday. The injured child has been identified as Arman Negi, resident of Gorubathan.
It has been learned that the child fell from the emergency window of Kamakhya Rajendranagar Capital Special Train while it was on its way to NJP station from Kharibari’s Adhikari station. The child was rescued and admitted to Kharibari Rural Hospital. After initial treatment, the child was sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Meanwhile, the incident created a stir in the station premises.
